The agency’s Key Account Executive will develop and manage deep client relationships, earning a position as trusted advisors by guiding marketing strategies and helping achieve desired results.

  • Work with clients to build and execute marketing plans, and provide strategic advice that leads to continuous improvements
  • Lead internal teams (Design, Copy, Web) efforts toward expected performance and results
  • Act as the primary conduit to the key account, and facilitate communication across the team
  • Build a deep knowledge-based relationship with the client
  • Set clear expectations for quality with the team and program/relationship expectations with the client
  • Supervise Marketing Specialists and/or Marketing Assistants. Responsible for providing ongoing guidance to these team members, often in the forms of ongoing feedback and coaching
  • Consistently demonstrate Weidert Group Culture Code behaviors as a leader within the organization

Requirements

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION/TRAINING
  • Must possess a deep knowledge and demonstrate competence of marketing strategy and tactics
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Marketing, Business, Communications, or comparable experience (5 years of experience in marketing). Note: A comparable combination of education/experiences and/or training may be considered equivalent
  • 3–5 years marketing experience with clients in the insurance or financial industry
  • Comfortable and engaged business acumen and curiosity around learning new business models, especially businesses that work in the insurance/financial services space 
  • Working knowledge of online CMS systems such as HubSpot, WordPress, etc. is a plus
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and recommendations
